I came in here with 20 minutes to get my food ordered. There were only 3 people in line, so I wasn't worried. ALL of the employees spent the next 10 minutes or so working on an online order. They finally started taking orders from the people in line, which took up almost the rest of the time. By the time I finally got up to the counter I had no time to spare. The woman working there looked at me and said "hold on, I'm going to work on this other order now." Meanwhile, customers were backing up behind me. Unfortunately, I had no time to wait anymore, so I had to leave dissatisfied and hungry. They really need to be more efficient.
I get home and the order is finally correct. My own burrito is now cold though... I won't be going to Chipotle anymore. I had to take a half hour out of my evening to drive back and get the situation corrected. I'm understanding if someone makes a mistake but all I got for my trouble was a cold burrito and frustration at having to tell a cook how to do his job.
This place used to be good, but now it's gone down the drain. There were 6 of us waiting and they were just working on an online order or something, and after all that they don't even mention the fact that they are out of veggies and salsa. So I waited in line for 15 minutes just to be told they ran out of vegetables and ran out of salsa. It is appalling service, looks like they really want to close the business or trying hard to do so.
I usually love Chipotle, and I don't consider myself a complainer, but I just feel the need to share a few things about this location. Staff was cold and indifferent. Chips were incredibly stale, to which the staff responded, "They are all that way." Meat was sparse. Clumpy, flavorless rice was plentiful. Beans were dry. And to top it all off, an employee was smoking on the patio dining area. At least the water was cold and refreshing...seems like a lot of cost-cutting was going on. Super disappointed!
When I got back to the restaurant I presented the food and receipt to a nice woman at the register. She said she would have a new one made. She handed the receipt to one of the cooks and he seemed confused. He started putting some of the ingredients in the bowl then came over to me and asked if I just wanted rice. "No, just make it how it is printed on the receipt.". He didn't seem to understand and asked for clarification again after staring at the receipt for a few moments. "Just look at the receipt and make the bowl as it was ordered. I don't know what is on there because I didn't place the order. Please just read it" I said. Finally he starts making the food and hands it to me. The woman at the register is apologizing profusely the entire time.
I have been here a handful of times and I loved it. I went there Friday and had there chicken burrito bowl and it was fine. My boyfriend got the steak burrito bowl and it was better. My stomach felt upset later that night and alllll Saturday I was throwing up every 30 minutes. The thought of that burrito made me vomit. I got THE WORST food poisoning here. I am never going back!
I came in to pick up an order my girlfriend placed online. I also ordered a burrito for myself while I was there. I paid for the food and drove home. We unpackaged everything and sat down to eat. My girlfriends food was missing rice. Since it was printed on the receipt I went back in to get her order fixed.
