If you're thinking of buying a custom firearm or really any hunting materials for that matter, these are the people to go through hands down. I spend a lot of money on hunting every year and I will tell you that Corey and Matt in the gun section are some of the most knowledgeable people you could work with. I have never had a bad experience. Not to mention, they both actually know how to mount a scope, the right way. Because they price match pretty much everything I will be buying all my hunting stuff through these guys.
I am sure that the people in this store are trained to be friendly but it has a genuine feeling past training about it. I really feel good every time we shop there. Very helpful with exceptional knowledge about their products.
I'm not a big fan of shopping, but Scheels is a fun place to be even if you're not looking for anything in particular. They carry range of mid to high end equipment for just about any activity or sport. It can be difficult to find a store that carries higher end products sometimes. They also have a ferris wheel, giant fish tank, kids playground, and cafeteria to keep bellies full and kids entertained.
Lots of stuff for kids to be entertained while shopping! Super impressed with the variety of our merchandise they sold. However I did wish they had a bigger camping area, but I guess I’m just used to REI. There were many things to distract my toddler before she had meltdowns. Great!
