This park has the best scenery I know of along the Wasatch Front. It also had access to multiple trails

Mile 76 on the Bonneville Shoreline trail has a great view of Mount Jordan and the Salt Lake Valley. From the top of the trail you can see a 100 mile panoramic vista.

I love this park. It Great playground and very nice trails.

Awesome park! Everything you could ask for. Paved walking path around the immediate area and then longer trails that branch out from there. Trees to perch under for shade. Pavilion area for seating, given it's not reserved or in use. Little playground area for the kids. Only problem here might be parking. Lots going on and sometimes lots of people in the area. Parking might get a little cramped so you might have to go beyond the immediate parking lot to park. But don't be dismayed, this is a big area.

This is my favorite park of the southern Salt Lake valley. Access to the BSL-Trail, lots of room to walk. Grass, trees, huge pavilion, big playground, paved walking trail loops among the sage brush and natural fauna. It's a refuge from the hubbub of the city. I've even done some xc-skiing here in the winter.
