Not the nicest or the most compassionate police in the valley. I was given a ticket over something really really small and sadly really petty. I was even given a ticket when I didn’t know I did anything wrong. I had heard that Sandy police had a bad reputation, now I understand why. They’re kind of power trippers. That or they must have been behind on their quota that month.
It is not a rant. Good people are in every profession and them some ass*oles...
Officer Musser was great and healpful. Any negative reviews... Please. You ever worked as a peace officer? Dont b*tch then. It is a hard job. Lots of things I do not like at all about Unified, Draper or Sandy, but they are good and doing their job! If you (i've been there done that) get busted, well, it is on YOU or ME.
I'm not going to rant, I've dealt with them on numerous occasions and I've never felt like they cared all that much
Just a shout out and BIG THANKS for patrolling the Jordan River Parkway. I had heard about the creep that scared a solo female dog walker there yesterday. Glad to see you are out trying to keep us safe.
I have had nothing but good encounters with Sandy City police officers. If you call names or denigrate their department, say why instead of just throwing out insults. I'll bet the "bad" guys don't like them.
