We have since switched to a new broker. I do not recommend Ezekiel Hart to anyone who wants a reliable broker.
Be very careful! I had an agent with the initials RW quote us with very low rates which got my attention. The problem is I would have to qualify for subsidies, which I know I do not because of income levels. I approached him with my findings and he got upset and disagreed, however he could not show me any proof I would qualify for his low cost plans... If I was to go with him it would have cost me at year end with extra taxes and fees. This seems to me like a bait and switch tactic. In the end I would be the one who would have to clean up any messes this type of dishonest business would have created. Remember...if it's too good to be true... it usually is..
Our agent gave us a quote for a plan without telling us it included premium tax credits. We were not entitled to those. When I asked him about it, he brushed it off with a joke about how most employee insurance doesn't meet the requirements. We now owe the government a couple thousand, and we had to cancel our policy since it was too much without the subsidies. Now we have no insurance and can't get any until January. I am a diabetic! I am also furious. This is very sketchy business.
Using this company was a bad idea. Michael was rude and blames us for things not getting done when he promised us he would do it he got mad at us when I emailed him documents to the email that he told me to respond to and it wound up going to the wrong email. Don't use this company they are a joke. We went to use our vision insurance and found out that our 6 month old has vision insurance yet my husband and I do not we also found out the same thing about dental insurance when we were told that we were signed up for everything that we needed.
If you want a agent that responds to you without having to hound them don't use them. Our agent Ezekiel Hart doesn't respond well to calls or text. He says he'll check on things and get back to you. Again it's always you having to hound him to find out what's going on. I strongly recommend you finding another company to do business with. This is not the one!
We had a bad experience working with a broker named Ezekiel Hart. He stood us up the first two appointments we had with him to get our insurance started. He is very difficult to get a hold of. There were several times that I would text him the same question 3 or 4 days in a row with no response. We finally decided we had had enough when my wife lost her coverage due Ezekiel's inaction. We had asked him to update some critical personal information for my wife that was needed to keep her coverage. He said he would take care of it for us. I tried contacting him to find out if it was done and he never responded. I called healthcare marketplace directly and they told me her coverage had been dropped because the information was not uploaded.
