The campground directors were very nice, polite and easy going. We had many members of our family come up throughout the weekend for dinners or s'mores and they also loved it. We walked around planning for the next time we came up as an entire family.
We had a great time and would easily recommend this place!
A beautiful mix of quaking aspen, spruce and fir trees and a river runs through it. Flies are minimal and no mosquitoes. Close to Salt Lake up Little Cottonwood Canyon. Lovely place if you can get a spot.
Beautiful and lovely campgrounds Well maintained .Son had his private wedding there was totally lovely .Will camp there during the summer.
Second time coming to Tanners Flat. I like the staff. Flushing toilets in most areas. There is some really awesome spots. I scoped out site 25 for a trip next year. I stayed in 18 this last trip. They have good fire rings in all of the campsites I scoped out. They also have pottable water in like 7 places throughout the camp. They also have indoor plumbing in some of the bathrooms, which is quite the luxury.
We had an incredible time here. Our campsite had plenty of room. We were able to set up our large tent and our two hammocks. The temperature was perfect under all the shade that the trees provide. Although the campground was full, we felt very private and secluded in our site.
This camp ground was great! It was a bit pricey and didn't have showed stalls like other cheaper camping areas in the state which is why it didn't get 5-star. We got site 16 which was amazing! Water near by added a great sound track to the weekend and kept the site really cool. Flushing toilets within walking distance was amazing! Bring soap to wash your hands with the running water in the bathrooms. By far my favorite campsite in Utah that I've been to. Wish it was cheaper but I will be coming back. Cheaper than a night in a hotel.
